BETHANY HEATH
She is also an actress who has performed in “Mahalia”, “Don't Bother Me I Can’t Cope”, “The Black Nativity”, “African Odyssey” and “The Glory of Gospel”. She has also had the pleasure of working with music and theater greats, the late Larry Leon Hamlin, and Mable Robinson of the National Black Theater Festival in her hometown of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Her travels extend as far as to a European tour with Queen Ester and the Harlem Gospel singers. Bethany has recorded with her father the late Apostle John H. Heath on several projects along with singing background vocals for Pastor John P. Kee, Charlotte, NC. (2018 -2020)

Minister Heath preached her initial sermon on September 26, 2007, was ordained an Elder on September 27, 2014, at the Annual “Heaven on Earth” Holy Convocation and on March 10, 2019, she was elevated to the Pastorate as Assistant Pastor of Greater Higher Ground Ministries. She is an intricate part of Greater Higher Ground Ministries Worldwide, Inc. Pastor Heath is currently the Director of Music Ministry and a member of the Finance team. Pastor Heath has a passion for women’s etiquette with “What’s Underneath”: a ministry that assists ladies with their undergarments. Pastor Heath has a heart for God and His people.

BETHANY HEATH
Pastor Bethany N. Heath was born to the Late Apostle John H. Heath and Bishop Janice O. Heath on January 2, 1982, in the great city of Winston-Salem, NC. She was educated at the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools. She has received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Business from Winston-Salem State University, Winston-Salem, NC. She is currently employed as a Lead Recruiter at The Resource.

Bethany has been a part of Greater Higher Ground Ministries Worldwide, Inc. since its inception in 1994, under the leadership of her parents, the late Apostle John and Bishop Janice Heath. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of 10 and was filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of 20. Shortly after she was baptized by water in Jesus’ name by Pastor Dennis Bishop.

As Bethany grew, it was evident that the hand of the Lord was upon her life. Every ministry has been graced by her hands but especially the Music Ministry. Following in the footsteps of her father, Bethany gave God her voice. She has sung in Europe, Prague, Czech Republic with the Dvorak Symphony as well as the Gabriel Faure’s Requiem under the tutelage of D'Walla Simmons Burke.​
